To Whom It May Concern: RE: My Demotion
I think it is truly unfair that I have been demoted from Field Agent to Janitorial Duty and request that the matter be reviewed immediately.
I have had a long and healthy career with the Echelon and can't see how much good I am able to do for the organization if I am cleaning things up.
Just look at my record I have been one of the top agents around in the last fifty years. I have never failed on a mission... save the incident with Xavier. ( I would like the record to show that I also managed to be knocked out only once in my career, other than the two Echelon members turned rogue.)
Also, many of my missions have been the corner stone of this organization. Not that many of our agents would be able to stand on the grassy knoll and shoot a president, or add 50,000 votes to the 2000 election (1/2 for Bush and 1/2 for Gore) complete with hanging chads and all. The point is I will blindly do whatever this great organization asks of me, not because I am sadistic but because I know that it is part of a major plan somehow. The Echelon never does anything without extremely careful planning. This is because they know that what they do affects the entire timeline.
That is why I have never complained, whether I had to brutally butcher women in England in the 19th Century or run around in a monkey suit and make people think there is a "bigfoot." All of it is so carefully planned and executed.
I truly believe in this organization. It has the world's best interests at heart. I would never think about trying to leave. All that I request is to have my Field Agent status back. That way I can continue to help the vision you have laid out to the best of my ability.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I have to go clean the archives now, that Minerva you created is a real slave driver. Again, thank you for your attention and consideration of my request.
Sincerely, Starfire
